Washable night-time pull-ups for 2yo?

We have, i'm afraid, always used disposables but something washable seems like a much better idea for DD2 who has only weed in her sleep 3 times since being potty trained 2 months ago. I wouldn't even change it every night. Does what I'm thinking of exist?

Needs to be a pull-up as she does occasionally use the potty in the night

I bought some of these but didn't find them absorbant enough for night time wee. They are only really good for small amounts of wee when you rush to find a toilet.

Hmm, they sound like the things we've already got. Was imagining there'd be something more nappy-like out there

If there is franch, I haven't found it.

Motherease bedwetter pant is a pull up. I have not tried though as start in big sizes with big leg holes and I have a v slim toddler.

Washersaurus · 29/04/2008 21:08

I think some of the pocket nappies would be suitable, especially as you can alter the absorbancy to suit your requirements.

I don't use that type of nappy though so can't help much with brand names, sorry.

But would she be able to get a pocket nappy up and down on her own, like a pullup?

Happy heinies?

spotted the hole in the market there, franch. Time to go into production.
We use the 'tots bots' / brightbots pants like thesefor DD who is also 2yo and has been toilet trained in the daytime for 6 months, but has the odd wee at night if she'd had her customary pint of milk they wouldn't hold much though, they are potty training pants, but they do the job for us

franch · 29/04/2008 23:32

Could she pull those up and down ravenAK?

I keep looking at these but not convinced they're what we need

franch · 29/04/2008 23:39

Hmm yes we've actually got a load of Bright Bots - hadn't considered using them as night pants - as you say, they don't hold much. They work ok for you do they gigglewitch?

they work, but we use one of the hippychick absorbent protectors on the bed too. just in case and all that. like you say about your lo, she doesn't wet that often, and some nights she just wees a bit if she sleeps deeply after her numerous toilet trips...I have to keep reminding myself how good she is to wake up and go for wees cos she wakes me up every time as well. We have a few pairs handy because little miss fussy changes them herself if there is so much as a dribble in them.

I have been researching this type of pant for DS1 recently - I quite like the look of these pocket bots

ravenAK · 30/04/2008 21:14

franch - yes, they're pocket trainer pants. Can't remember where we got ours but you could google. Sizes are generous (bigger sizes are aimed at older children with incontinence).
