Hi can anyone recommend a quality vitamin for toddlers. My son is 2.5 and I've used always used the NHS healthy start drops that have vitamins A,C and D in them because he didn't like the taste of the Well Baby ones but I would like more vitamins included in the supplement.

I just used the healthy start drops until 3 and then switched to Boots own brand gummy bear vitamins for 3+

At some point I was looking for multivitamins for my DD but gave up as they are mostly from 3y upwards. I am just giving her probiotics and vitamin D around the year.

Thanks for your responses. Should we be supplementing iron? I was going to get him the Wellkid Peppa Pig gummies and just cut them in half so they're safe to chew, I think that's the only issue with them being for 3+ but they don't have iron in them. He doesn't seem to have any signs of being deficient but he's so fussy with his eating at the moment and doesn't really eat anything containing it apart from maybe toast and pasta.

I am not an expert but personally I would not give iron supplements to my toddler. I just googled how iron defiance shows in toddlers:

The most common symptoms of iron-deficiency anemia in a child include:
• Pale skin, lips, and hands, or paleness under the eyelids.
• Irritability.
• Lack of energy or tiring easily.
• Increased heart rate.
• Sore or swollen tongue.
• A desire to eat peculiar substances, such as dirt or ice (also called pica)
If I was to see any of the above in my DD I would first see our GP and get DD checked out.

I saw those Peppa Pig ones you mentioned today on Boots website and I suppose you could try those. My DD has been able to bite D vitamins and probiotics since she was about 2 so at 2y7m she would be able to chew/bite the Peppa pig ones.

@Olika yeah I searched and saw that too that's why I don't think he has a deficiency but I am thinking how is he getting iron then lool but he must be storing somehow, I guess toddler fave beige foods are fortified. He did used to enjoy weetabix, that has a good amount but doesn't eat it much anymore. Yeah I think I'm just going to go for the peppa pig ones.
