6yo sweating profusely at night

My lo has been complaining of tummy ache on and off since she was younger, dr gave her a blood test for celiac that came back clear then she seemed to pick up after a month or so. However a few weeks ago she was sick, then sick again a week later and sent home from school, this has been the pattern in the past. Vomiting which lasts two weeks on and off. I took her back to the doctors, who said they will order more blood test for her and a full blood count which we now have the appointment through for end of December. I noticed at the gp appointment her breath smelt like sweet, and asked about being checked for diabetes, as she is also a thirsty child, gets hot a lot, pale and sweats profusely at night. They dripped her urine, said it was unremarkable and sent us on our way home to wait for her blood app to come through. Anyway tonight I’ve gone up to check on her and she has literal sweat droplets across the whole of her back and her quilt is drenched. Is sweating this much normal in kids? Or should I push for the bloods to be brought forward? Don’t know if I’m over reacting and worrying. Added a pic of her upper back. Thanks for reading.

Not normal, I wouldn't say

Test again for diabetes perhaps?

I think thyroid issues or hormones can also cause excessive sweating but does sound like you’d be best chancing your arm to see if you can have the test brought forward by anything at all.

Coeliac tests in young children can give a false negative so that can’t totally rule it out either but sounds less like stomach issues maybe and more something else?
