Chronically ill mum and a toddler

I have a 1 year old LG and work for myself (during nap times, evening and weekend) so am essentially a stay at home mum. I have a very close relationship with my own mum and we see her most days.

The issue is, being a toddler, my LG seems to catch every germ going when we are around other children. I like her to mix with others as she is not in nursery yet and I feel it's good for her development and I don't want her to miss out.

However... my mum has a chronic illness which means if she catches viral infections she can become very poorly.

I am so torn on how to handle this as I feel guilty if I don't take my LG out to the toddler groups, soft plays, etc. But I also feel terribly guilty and incredibly nervous when we see my mum incase my LG is coming down with something.

Just wanted to know if anyone else is in the same situation? And any advice or tips to manage this?

Thanks in advance!

Look into DoTerra on guard . I know people who swear if they diffuse it it stops the kids from getting sick they also use it In hospitals in America and the UK. I've been looking into it and I'm going to invest in it totally sold me on it :
