What worked to help your teething baby ?

Just wondering what others have found helped their little ones with teething ? My DD hasn't quite got the hang of putting anything other than her hands in her mouth yet so teethers are useless. I'm using camomile granules and gel and obviously calpol and nurofen though I would rather not have to give calpol and nurofen for too long . Any other products you found worked to help ease the pain and soothe their gums ?

Bonjella seemed to work but I don’t know if it did anything or the taste distracted him for a while…

matchstick monkey has been the best teether. I know you say little one can’t hold them yet but it won’t be long til they can. I used to hold it for mine & then they soon started holding on.

also got a Nuby teething glove. Put on their hands & thet shove it in their mouth. That went down well.

Thank you I actually have the gloves and a teether that goes in the fridge butmay wait a few weeks for her to get the hang of them she's also petite so I think her mouth is too small yet to chew on them properly

Mine had the teething mittens called Gummee Gloves. They had the softer mittens for little babies with bobbly bits then a bigger glove with a teething heart for when they're bigger and can put stuff in their mouths. They're really good, check out the website

Same as this!

I also used Anbesol liquid for instant pain relief and found it more effective than Bonjela

@BroomAdventures yes I bought anbesol liquid but there's a lot about it not being safe for babies so I'm terrified to use it now .

Benzocaine, a local anesthetic (a drug that temporarily numbs), is the active ingredient in several nonprescription oral health care products, including Anbesol, Cepacol, Chloraseptic, HurriCaine, Orabase, Orajel, and Topex. These products should not be used for teething pain in children because they can be dangerous. Using benzocaine products can lead to a serious, and sometimes fatal, condition called methemoglobinemia, in which the oxygen-carrying capacity of red blood cells is greatly reduced

My DD never got on with teethers or the teething mitten things...luckily teething doesn't bother her too much.

Calpol and a suck on a peeled carrot that had been in the freezer was the best thing!
