Is it normal for newborns to have wind still after burping?

Hey everyone,
I am a 40 year old father of three, 2 boys 17 & 5 and a lovely little girl who is 2 weeks tomorrow.
She is great and doing all the normal stuff but one thing is bothering me a tiny bit and that is to do with the amount of wind she has even after a good burp and keeping her upright for a bit.

She does the possessed eye rolling thing and weird twitching and squeaks when sleeping after a feed.

It's after nearly every feed at the moment. I just wanted to ask if it's pretty normal at this point and she just needs a bit of time to mature physically? She is only dinky 6lb 2 and came just before 38 weeks.

Thanks very much in advance.

Have you started another thread about this?

Have you started another thread about this?

Yes I did but someone suggested I start another here because it's more active.

To be honest these forums are confusing to navigate. I just thought this was the best place to ask here as I thought people would be nice. Or is it because I am a dad?

I wasn't being horrible, just thought I'd read it already somewhere else.

Is she bottle or breast fed?

She is bottle fed now but she had colostrum and some expressed breast milk for a few days. That was kind of always our plan.

We also have tried 3 different bottle brands and different teat flows as she was drinking so fast that she was always sick but now she is rarely sick.

I think it's pretty normal that one burp often isn't enough. (Mum of three, babies were various combinations of breast and mixed expressed/ formula feeding.)

Also the discomfort/ pain may be due to gas at the other end, so gentle tummy massage may help. Lots of info online.
