Looking for a table/chair set up for my 2 yr old who is too big for highchair, not safe or study for stand alone chair so looking for a floor level table/chair for snack times in day
( most dinners we are all at the table and she's fine in a chair as she sits between us)
But something also she can sit and draw and watch tv on

Show me your set up please 🙏

IKEA table and chair set did us, still sell the same 25 years later, a classic. I suggest a booster seat for the main table so they can reach properly though

We had the IKEA one. Also an IKEA junior chair for the table, which lasted us a good 10 years across 2 dc.

She's very tall and can reach the table ok but wouldn't leave her as I say it's ok for when we are all there together

Fab thanks I'll take a look

3 year old sits at an IKEA flisat table for snacks and sometimes for lunch or dinner if we're not eating together. Doubles up as a table for kinetic sand and sand toys.

We have this. Doubles up as a kitchen stand so they can help with the cooking. It's expensive (it was actually a gift), but we've used it so much with DD (3.5), and it's just starting to be used with DS (1)

We had ikea one too, ours used it until around age 5 for snacks and playing.
When my youngest was a toddler and not quite safe on a chair I used a fabric portable highchair that fit on the ikea kids chair so she could sit with her big sister

shardlakem · 14/11/2024 21:34

Ikea set was about £25 I think for table and two chairs
