Hi,
I've just joined to maybe get some advice, or maybe I'm just hoping I'm not the only parent to the world's fussiest eater. Also apologies if this is in the wrong section!
My daughter recently turned 4. She happily eats breakfast and will eat lunch which is usually waffles/pancakes that you pop in the toaster. And of course she will eat her bodyweight in snacks if we let her (which of course we dont). But this kid will absolutely not eat a hot meal for dinner. She will simply look at her dinner and decide she doesn't like it or doesn't want it. I do put some bits on the side that she will usually eat like sausage. Tonight she decided she didn't want any of it. I don't let her snack after 3pm as it will ruin her dinner but she still refuses. After refusing her dinner she'll ask for snacks. I'm sure she's hungry, why will she not just eat a little bit? Or even try her dinner?! I'm losing my mind. I'm certain that she's going to bed hungry. And I do tell her that if she doesn't eat her dinner she'll have to wait until breakfast before she can have something and she's perfectly happy with that. It feels so pointless even making her any dinner.
If you've been in this position can you please give me some tips?
