Any advice is welcome.. So we moved house a week ago and now 1 of my twins 14mo has gone from sleeping solidly 7pm-7am every night to waking up around 4.45am. Wide awake in her cot chatting away to herself, giggly, in a very happy mood just VERY awake. We have kept everthing else as normal as can be, same bed time routine/ 1 nap during the day at normal time but she just wont sleep in. I have been getting up every morning with her as i only work PT my partner does longer hours but it has been a shock to my system. Im not sure if i should be doing anything else or just riding it out and hoping she settles back to usual routine. I know moving house can disrupt little ones. They share a bedroom so i try to leave her for as long as i can to see if she will go back off but she ends up waking her brother up. Is there anything else i can try?

Is her brother unhappy and needing attention when he wakes up, or can you leave them both chatting happily?

I used to just get up with my early waker, but I have to be up at 5:30 for work anyway, so it's not much difference.

Will she go back to sleep if you give her milk and put her back down in her cot?

They both wake up happy and chatty. I have left them but neither go back off, her brother just starts moaning after a while because he wants to get up and then he is very grumpy because he doesnt cope well when he is tired. If i get up and take her downstairs he stays in bed until 7am.

They dont have milk first thing (they havent for a while) its usually breakfast and a drink with a cup of milk a bit later on
