Wondering if anyone can recommend a good wrap for my DS and his terry squares. Have tried ME, cotton bottoms and little ewe, and trad style plastic pants with varying results, plus mum bought me a Bambino Mio - dreadful for us! I find my main problem is DS is 9lb 8 with skinny legs so gusset isn't deep or long enough, or leg opening is too wide (hope this makes sense...!) Also interested in making my own, so either a recommendation to buy, or for a pattern, would be great... Thanks

Hi have you tried the airflow motherease so you could adjust the size of the legholes with poppers?

I would say a nippa fastening bumble. You can yank it up tight between the legs so the leg holes are as small as you need. They are nice and absorbent.

Or a bambeasy if you want bamboo absorbency.

Motherease wraps are pretty the best about - agree with adjusting leg holes with airflow ones

the nature babies velcro ones aren't bad either, and the Smalls are adjustable in the rise, whcih might help, but the tabs don't cross over (disadvantage if he is skinny round the tum)

Motherease wraps, either Rikki or Airflow, beat all the rest hollow. Just make sure you have the right size for your baby.

Thanks for all the advice! Have tried pad folding, but DS is rather explosive, so best fold is triangle with big wodge in centre. I then fold egdes of triangle to fit. This holds in the poo, but the wee is another matter! Will keep on with motherease, and try airflow, Nature babies sound good too. Not certain about shaped nappies though, drying time and cost are major factors in my life! Plus the terrry squares look great on the line...

Hi, I swear by ME Airflow wraps also, my son has slim waist and chunky legs. I have 3 brand new size small airflow wraps for sale in VERY cute designs (Asia, Savannah and Wetlands) would be happy to measure the leg openings on tightest setting for you to see if suitable?

Bummis super whisper is good for babies with skinny legs. Works great with prefolds for my skinny minny DD. Also the imse vimse cotton wraps but you have to be vigilant about changing often because they wick.
