Would you choose a giant, well funded, Ofsted rated outstanding secondary school over a small, heart centred but poorly funded, Ofsted rated good secondary school?

Funding is per child. Is there a risk the small school with fail?

Option 1 - a larger school will have more opportunties.

I’d visit both, take a look
around, hear what you are being told from both and then make a decision. We went with a requires improvement school over an outstanding school and it was the best decision that we made for our child at that time.

Take your child, tour around the school. The only concern is the small school could close in the duration and child may end up at the bigger school.
