It is by Sue Jenner.

My DD and I were having some relationship issues, she has dyspraxia and my DS has sever special needs ( a genetic condition). DD (8) was driving me bonkers and I had read 'The out of sync child' and my GP said, "what about the out of sync parent?"

Much of DD's behaviour has been attributed to the balance of attention in the relationship between me and DS/DD, I can't help that he takes up much of my time.

So this book is about positive contacts etc to help maximise the good bits of our relationship in the short time I have with her.

thankyou-sounds great.i do wonder if some of it is that maybe he just needs more one on one time.hes middle child of 3.i really try to spend time with each.ds2 is 2 so obviously what with running up to the tiolet with him every 5 minutes(feels like)and just generally looking after a toddlers demands i probably do spend more time with ds2 without meaning too.thankyou i'll look at that book.
