Hi everyone, I'm thinking way ahead as my baby is only 5 weeks old, her vaccines are booked for when she'll be 8 weeks and 6 days old. Would it be useful to buy the frida medicine dispenser with the syringe/teat or could I just use a regular bottle teat and achieve the same results? When I syringe fed her colostrum she spit a good bit out so I'm afraid of losing some with a syringe and her not getting a full dose.
Also any tips just for dealing with the vaccines? I'm so anxious even thinking about them, how was your babys after the vaccines? I know they can cause irritability and fever but I'm just hoping it's not too bad. If it's any relevance my baby is exclusively BF. I fed her while she got her heel prick at 3 days old and she didn't move an inch, you'd swear nothing happened! Is BFing during the 8 week vaccines even possible? I'm not sure where they inject so I'm not sure if it would work, just want to make them as easy as possible for baby. The thoughts of her in pain is killing me. I'm seriously dreading it even though I know it's for the best.
