Worth a trip to the GP? Rotavirus reaction?

LO is 14 weeks and has been on hipp anti reflux for about 8 weeks after bringing up a lot of milk on C&G. Change was almost instant, only thing that wasn’t perfect was her stools which had firmed right up (know this can be the case on thickened milk) but never seemed to bother her, wasn’t in pain etc.

She had her first set of jabs 2 weeks ago and ever since then has been crying/screaming on and off throughout the night. We thought she was too hot/cold/not getting enough milk in the day etc but have remedied all of this to no avail. She was doing a long stretch of 7 hours then a feed then another 3/4 but is barely pushing 2 at times and we are exhausted. Sometimes she’s crying every half an hour for us to put the dummy back in or I will try and burp her and sometimes get something up.

Could this be a reaction to the rotavirus vaccine? Have been reading can upset little stomachs. Her stools have also changed to I guess what people would consider normal (mustard coloured and pasty) so a much better texture but since she’s on a thickened milk would this be considered loose?

She doesn’t have a temperature and is fine within herself other than fighting naps so could this be the dreaded 4 month sleep regression or is it worth getting checked out? Is it worth trying a new formula? Would really appreciate any advice!

Thank you!

I should add I don’t think she’s teething as she’s only whingey during the day when she’s tired/bored/overstimulated. And temp in room is normally between 18 and 22. 18 she’d be in a sleepsuit and 2.5 tog and 22 we’ve been dropping down to a 1.5 tog. I follow the guides roughly but check her before we go to sleep and chest always feels warm/she’s not sweaty etc.

I think unfortunately this is a 14 week old. She may be a bit grizzly from the jabs, sure, but nothing that requires a GP trip. You just got quite lucky with a 7 hour stretch of sleep. Around 14 weeks is when they start trying to roll and there is a lot of brain development related to mobility and exploring the world, and unfortunately sleep goes to shit. You need to go to bed when she does and as she’s formula fed, each do half the night so you both get a safe amount of sleep.
