Threadworms

My friend's DS has threadworms and due to babysitting him regularly during the summer my DD has also got them after checking last night.

It's my first time dealing with this, I didn't even know what they were until I done a google search.
I've washed both of our beddings this morning, I've bleached the entire bathroom, kitchen and all tables and side tables in the house, anything I could bleach I have bleached. We have all taken the treatment this afternoon as well. My question is, do I now need to wash the bedding everyday? Or just wash hers everyday? She doesn't get into my bed at all and I don't have them. What about her teddy's or toys? How long until the treatment does its thing? I know to take treatment again in two weeks for any eggs that hatch during that time.
I'd appreciate all advice and tips as well whilst dealing with this.
Thank you!

I’d wash teddies on the bed, then do it all again in 2 weeks time.

Don’t panic, it’s very common. My DC even managed to get the during the first Covid lockdown (at school for key workers) when everyone was distancing and his hands were raw with washing. So although hygiene is a factor it is still possible to get them even with the best of hygiene (which may or may not make you feel better!).

And when I say do it all again in 2 weeks time, I mean washing bedding and towels and teddies, not bleaching everything..

I haven't stopped washing my hands, everytime I've touched something I would wash them lol and I follow my DD around like a shadow making sure she washes at every opportunity lol so I don't need to wash the bedding everyday? Just make sure I do in two weeks time?

No definitely not bedding everyday, just in 2 weeks time. To be honest I think I haven’t done the 2 weeks time washing and they go with the medicine.

Aw that's perfect. Thank you! She only has a handful of teddies that she sleeps with so that won't be any hardship

Also cut her nails and give them a clean regularly.
