“Colicky” baby - help please

DD2 is 15 days - first 14 days she seemed very happy and chilled. Suddenly today she’s been crying and writhing and seems very uncomfortable. I’ve always felt like “colick” is not particularly helpful way of saying there is something wrong with my baby but I don’t know what.
Exclusively breastfed, we’re dairy free. DD1 had terrible reflux which I think I started to notice around 4 weeks but possibly the initial signs were earlier I just didn’t know what to look for. I’ve given her some infacol and orders colife. Any other ideas? She’s screened and barley slept all day🥲

Difficult isn't it when they're that upset. Can you feed and change her and get DH to take her out first a walk or drive, if you have someone there with you?

I’m ok j don’t need a break from her (although I totally appreciate I might) DP is around and on pat leave. More that I am/was really concerned. She did fall asleep just after I posted this and has been ok overnight, back to sleeping and waking feeding and repeating….maybe today will be different. 🤞

Google 'bore your baby to sleep' by Dr Chilton.
I think it explains newborn behavior really well.

If you think it might be reflux, then infacol can make it worse so be careful there.

Look up the symptoms of silent reflux, could be that.

One of mine suddenly got colic a couple of weeks in, lasted a while and you have my sympathy if it is this as nothing compared to it (I have 5 other children so used to general baby-issues)

I recommend baths and slings. Also, walking around with baby over your forearm so pressure is on their stomach. I had so many nights of hours of pacing with her. She’s now an adult, no food issues or long term health issues at all.

Get as much support as you can, and I’m sending huge, comradely hugs.
