Hand-me-down etiquette

What is the accepted etiquette for pajamas in a bag of hand-me-down clothes? All in great condition, going to a family member, age 3-4 so not a discerning teen. DD has just turned 4 and still in night nappies so the PJ’s have never had bum to fabric, if that makes any sense, but if it’s not the usual done thing, I don’t want to pass the problem of disposal onto someone else.

I’m happy to get anything in a bag of hand me downs! Pyjamas, socks, vests, pants…

I would not have a problem as long as the clothes were washed and folded nicely.

No underwear though, thats a bit too personal!

When mine were kids bags of clothes would go round and back to me pyjamas always accepted. I wasn't keen on pants though but that was probably just me they were clean I just felt weird about it.

No pants, but thanks for the tip/reminder about socks, her DD is in nursery and if anything like some of the kids at our nursery, losing/ruining/weeing on socks is a regular occurrence. I’ve weeded out anything stained or damaged, and everything is freshly washed and folded so I’ll keep the PJ’s in.

Generally PJs fine, if in great condition. Not socks and pants.
