can we have a thread for those of us who are perfectly happy with how many children we have, and have no desire to have anymore

this board is always full of people wondering if they should have another, or wondering how to talk there dh/dp into having another, what about those of us who are happy sticking where we are.

yes it does make me sad that i no longer have a pram to push and no matter how hard i try i can longer force dress dd2 into a babygro

BUT

my house seems 2 times bigger since we got rid of all the baby stuff, i now have a life of my own again, everyday things such as going shopping are easier, we can go for a meal without worrying about upsetting other diners, i will never have to potty train and the biggest plus of all i never have to step inside a mother and toddlers group again

Could we have a thread for those of us who are overwhelmed by the number of children we have and are too knackered (and old) to have any more? Please.

I'm happy with my 2, 3 looks like hard work! dd2 has just turned 1 and I'm beginning to see a glimmer of light at the end of tunnel which I'm racing headlong towards.

Totally agree with what was said before, other peoples' small babies give me intense nostalgia not a desire to actually live the experience all over again.

When i was little I always wanted 2 daughters, now i've got my 2 daughters I'm complete before i had dd2 I felt like there was a person missing, I used to burst into tears when I saw a pregnant lady (and we weren't even ttc! )

Really happy now and I borrow other peoples babies most of the time so everyone wins

3 is plenty for us. dd3 is 4 tomorrow and I feel like cheering, no more toddlers. No more incontinence. No more buggies. Not so many tantrums. No more walking at snail's pace and getting nowhere slowly. etc.

I love the newborn stage but it doesn't last very long.

i'm done too
Don't even like babies (well i like the look of other peoples ..but don't like doing my own!)so not even vaguely broody...and hated the newborn stage with both.
i have 2 children (aged 10 and 5)
