Daughter dropped out of college

My daughter received her results of her 1st year T Level and it was an E and she needs a C. Her college have said all along she was doing well but she is gutted and doesn't want to continue. She has also experienced some bullying there so would be a good idea to move on. What are her options?

Can you clarify for me. Are E and C the actual grades or have you translated Pass and Merit into A level speak? (I thought T levels were graded like BTECs but I could be wrong).

When you say 'needs a C' what do you mean? To be allowed to continue, or for something else?

She can restart something else, she can have 3 years in 6th form. But she would need to understand what went wrong and how to do better next time around.

If she drops out child benefit will stop. She could find part or full time work, or an apprenticeship. Even if she does nothing no authority will chase.

Ps The Further Education board may be better than this one, you could ask MN to move the thread.

Careers adviser would be able to advise, college should have one.

@Mumofoneinamillion what does your DD want you to do?

Like others have said she had 3 years from leaving school of education that is free. I'd say that sitting at home isn't an option unless she had some SN and an ECHP which extends her free education until 25?
