How do you babyproof the loose white cap on the end of the radiator without resorting to radiator guards?

It doesn't screw tight and could be a potential choking hazard.

My LO keeps going for them!

Thanks in advance.

either remove them until the baby is bigger- though they are a bit sharp- or use silicone to hold the lid on. Like, bath sealant.

It’s easy enough to remove with a strong pull when you need to, but not for the baby.

Remove them for now and masking tape some cotton wool or something over the wee pointy bit.

Thanks for the idea. Would you be able to send a link or a name for the sealant stuff. Just so I have the right stuff.

Thank you. I didn't know you could remove them as I wasn't sure what the purpose of them was!

I have exactly this issue. DS is 16 months old and he’s now in to everything. He just pulls it off and plays with it. I left it off for a few days but then thought if he fell awkwardly onto it it would hurt or do some damage.

I tried the foam corner material (used for sharp edges). However he pulled that off too. So might look in to masking tape next to try and keep the cap or foam on it.

Such a pain! My house looks so silly with all the baby proofing I'm slowly accumulating. Pipe insulation everywhere. But of course LO just pulls that off too!

We wrapped electrical tape round it to keep it on.

Ours don't have caps on, but there isn't a pointy bit either as it's a turn with a key/screwdriver valve.

Socks and a really short bit of string to tie around the bottom?
