... for the umpteenth time today?

Just thought I would do a quick 'temp check' and see what chaos is going on around each of you lovely MNers as we argue chat with eachother on MN...?

Mine are currently asleep, thankfully, but can assure you usually DS2 is staring at a shoelace or something(!), and DS1 is slowing creating his own line in interior decoration with crayons and a spare fresh piece of white wall!
Either that or both are screaming.

So, what yours up to??

DD got up at 7 for a 2 hour driving lesson at 8 - it seems to have exhausted her as she is now crashed out on the sofa in the play family room.
DS is upstairs on MSN writing a 5000 word essay on reactions to popular movements in London, Paris & New York between 1750 & 1920

All of my kids are at school

BitLessTiredNow · 14/04/2008 14:39

baby is asleep, ds's are for once playing a nice game together - if I went to try and join in they would only start fighting

Ds1 watching TV - been at playgrop all morning and dead on his legs. Ds2 asleep.

Lizzylou · 14/04/2008 14:46

DS1 is creeping around by my feet (thinks I can't see him)
DS2 is playing with his Rocket ship and spacemen

I am exhausted by trying to wear the little tikes out, have done loads of craft, been for a long walk, painted, played dominoes/snap/other games and now I am sitting down with a cup of coffee and the laptop. Hence why DS1 is stalking me, because I am daring to stop being Proactive Mommy for 2 mins.

Started this thread with both asleep. Have since been out, come back bla bla.... and now DS1 is having the most ENORMOUS tantrum downstairs in the living room. I have never seen anything like this!!(!) I can here big thumps and bangs, and he is getting more and more irate (nearly 3yrs old).

Oh the joy. Thought I had got away without the tantrum phase of toddlerhood..... seems not.
I thought he's just calm himself down if I ignored it. Seems to be having the opposite effect.
Think this might be last MN post for a few hours....

Maybe I should go and save him from himself! Oh, what I wouldn't do to be able to have a quiet sit down and a cup of coffee.
