Toddler Water Bottles

Can anyone recommend a toddler water bottle with a straw? We've tried three different ones so far and they are all really hard to suck and drink out of - It's a lot of effort even for me! My little boy (18m) just gets frustrated. So are there any straw cups that are easy to drink from but also don't spill?!

We loved the Tum Tum no valve straw cups (the ones with a bear or whatever as the lid).

Now we use the Nuby Incredible Gulp bottles.

Thanks will look at the tum tum.
We've just bought the nuby mighty swig and it's just too hard to suck!

Since the tum tum ones are no valve they do spill (but are easier to suck). I like the munchkin ones that are similar (but with a valve) that have the weight at the bottom of the straw so that they can be held at any angle, both DS have managed to drink from them from under a year. I find them hard to suck though! I think I want more volume than they're designed to permit.

DS2 (16m) usually steals his brother's Contigo autospout bottle and drinks from it with no problems, if the suck is an issue maybe go for one aimed at older children where they are expected to want more to drink at once?

My 2 have Nuby ones, off the shelf in Tesco's, whichever one they each preferred for colour or pattern at the time. That was that. 3yo and 1yo.

I've just googled and discovered one is a Nuby Might Swig and the other is Nuby Flip It. They both use both of them interchangeably but do seem to favour the Might Swig.

We've never had any problems or leaks or difficulty using either.

Camelbak Eddy. The only issue is that so many kids have them you need to make sure it’s properly labelled for nursery!

Another vote for the Tum Tum bottle- we've got the one with the weighted straw in the shape of a koala.

I’ve found the Munchkin ones with weighted straw are the best for not leaking while out and about.

The Tum Tum ones are good too but quite pricey. The ones that are like actual water bottles rather than the straw cups are quite easy to drink out of.

I agree with PP on the Nuby Incredible Gulp bottles - we have previously tried lots for the same reasons as you OP!

We use these from Savers - £2 each. They work just fine for us www.savers.co.uk/Baby/Baby-Feeding/Baby-Bottles-&-Teats/Griptight-Flexi-Straw-Flip-Top-Bottle-Pink/p/808768

Tommee tippee are good, but I do prefer their sportee bottles which are the ones without straws.

You're a life saver for this comment! Finally a bottle my 11 month old can hold himself, doesn't spill and he actually drinks from it. Thank you!!
