Mamas & Papas strollers: Airo or Libro

Not quite ‘parenting’ but I wasn’t really sure where else to post this.

does anyone have either of these strollers? Which would you recommend? Anything you love or hate about your stroller?

Thank you!

Just to add also, I was saving up for the Libro stroller but have just seen the Airo is now 1/3 off and slightly cheaper than the libro. Airo is also cabin approved I believe, so that’s an extra bonus (not that I have any travel plans currently).

A bit consideration for me will be whether it can take a buggy board and still be (relatively!) comfortable for me, baby and toddler. My children are 2.5 year, 1 year. My husband and I are not particularly tall so I don’t anticipate any problems with that but the taller the handle bar the better I think (to accommodate pushing with buggy board attached)

I would hope to use this lightweight stroller most days but we will have a big, heavy Uppababy Vista double pushchair for big days out.

I have a libro that i bought just for holidays as my child is 4 and walks when we are at home, it was brilliant, lightweight and foldable with one hand, not cabin approved but you take the pram to the gate anyway so you are only missing it to the baggage claim on the other side. The seat is roomy and a good length so shouldn't outgrow it. Handle extends to a good height no idea about the buggy board though.

Really useful reply, thank you. I believe the libro is newly released so you can’t have had it very long. Is that right?
Did you consider any other options before you bought it or did you go straight for for the libro? Thanks again

We’ve had it 3 weeks used it everyday on holiday and folds very flat so stored easily in the hotel room. I’m very impressed so far

@ViaRia01 Did you get one of these in the end, OP? I'm just looking at them and wondering the same as you were

ViaRia01 · 21/07/2024 21:41

@thislittlebird no, not yet. I’m still saving and still undecided on which one. I’m sure they’ll both do the job equally well though to be fair.

We've got the Airo. It's used mostly as a spare in the husbands car. I've just been looking at the Libro though and think it looks better. The Airo pushes like a dream and folds small and compact however I hate the hood. It looks cheap as it always ends up wonky looking and worst of all its not very good at providing shade especially when bubs is reclined and asleep. If you've not bought yet, go for the Libro x

....and the basket on the Airo is pointless! Can barely fit anything in.

Hi,
can I ask which pushchair you went for in the end?

I currently have the mama & papas Ocarro but it’s so big & heavy! Got a 15 month old & 3 year old so looking for very similar things to you!
Just struggling to find a pushchair that will have a buggy board on too.
