Did your newborn’s eyelashes get darker and thicker as they grew?

My just curious - my 6 week old baby’s lashes are currently very fine and light brown.. are they likely change or are the set from this age?

Your baby is 6 week old, gently I urge you to stop worrying about superficial things like eyelashes. They have so much growing and changing to do and the important thing is that they’re healthy and happy. Not the way they look.

of course I am not worried - I was curious 🧐 about the way they grow…. 😂

I think they very often tend to have similar hair thickness and eyelashes etc.
Eg I was born looking like I had a wig on my head and it stayed thick my entire youth (got fuck all compared to that now though!)
My daughter had very fine and thin hair at birth, same now at 2 years, I don't think she's ever going to have luscious thick locks, but at least she will likely be spared all the body hair removal I've done over my life so far

Two of my DC were born with quite thick (relatively) and dark eyelashes; my other DC pretty much had none. And when they started growing they were very fine and light brown. She is still the fairest of my children but she has beautiful thick dark long eyelashes now, just like the other two.

Yep. My baby boy was born with very very fine blonde lashes and he’s 13 months now and they are long and thick black lashes…99% in awe of them 1% jealous lol
