Hi

I'm after a tuff tray on legs/alternative. Can anyone suggest anything?

Wanted for 4 year old to play sand/water/activities etc

Thanks

Washing up bowl?

Be careful with black tuff trays in the summer. We had one and it got boiling hot and could have burnt the DC if we'd let them near it.

The IKEA flisat table with two trofast trays is a good alternative to a tuff tray, a bit more versatile too as you can use it for drawing etc as well as messy play.

I got a tuff tray from Amazon. It's great but i got it during Covid so still slightly traumatised by the memories every time I see it! Crazy to think it was sometimes pretty much the only thing activity to do.

We had a tuff tray in covid from amazon, was good as we had room at the time, but with a smaller living room I wouldnt get one now. I also found it hard to empty water or rice etc out of it. The Flisat looks great but as we already had a small childrens table I got a garden tray (put “garden tray 60cm” or 80 cm or whatever you want into amazon) and we just have that on top of the table - it is easy to empty and stores under the sofa. A clear plastic storage box is also good for water as they can see inside easier. I would think about whether you want the legs on it (which you might if you’re mostly using it outside) or whether a tray would be easier to store.
