Tips on how to deal with DS aged 4?

He's a nice boy deep down, he's sensitive and caring and considerate.
BUT for whatever reason he knows how to push my buttons. He's more rude to me than anyone else.
This morning he wouldn't leave his little sister age 1 alone, everywhere she went he'd try to stop her moving, or he'd tickle her, he was basically being a little shit, when I try to tell him not to do something he replies with "stop it!" over and over, and I can't get through to him.
Basically I'm finding him hard work at the moment and for this reason my fuse is short which I think he picks up on.
Is it awful I can't wait for school in September!?

As usual, just a stage. You can ignore him, or punish him. Up to you, punishment can be removing things or withdrawal of stuff. Or reward good behaviour using star chart, pennies in a jar. But whichever, follow through.
