Birthday party etiquette - do I bring anything?

Taking my daughter to her first birthday party soon, the little girl will be 4

I have a gift and card

Is there anything else I'm meant to bring do you think?

Parents are staying and it's being held at a village hall

Not unless you’ve been asked to!

sounds alike a nice party.

But do offer to help clean up, make tea, share biscuits and sweep round - usually there are to few helpers at these types of parties.

Have a lovely time - nothing else needed. I don't even bother taking change of clothes, as the parties are only 2 hours.
It's more than likely there will be food offered. And it's not common to offer to clear up unless parents are your best friends

No need to bring anything else. Definitely offer to help clean up, or to watch the children of the parents who are doing the cleaning up so that they can get on with it undistracted 🙂

No need to bring anything at all - would be odd if you did! Just the present and card.
