Using food pouches once opened

We are currently wearing DS and when very busy have been using Aldi food pouches. On the packet it says use as soon as opened. Would you use them again the next day if they have been kept in the fridge?

DH and I have opposing views - on the one hand it's such a waste to throw away good food, but on the other we use them rarely and they are not horrendously expensive. But if we could keep them and use them the next day, we would.

I always kept and used the next day. I didn't know you weren't supposed to!

I always use it within 24 hours (so next day, fine).

I'd not keep the food that was in her bowl and the spoon went into, but if the food in the pouch hasn't been touched it should be fine to eat

When they eat a very little amount you can freeze purée in ice cube trays if they are suitable for freezing.

I’ve had the same thought. The Ella’s Kitchen and other slightly more expensive pouches say you can keep them for 24 hours in the fridge - so I do that with those ones. The Aldi / Sainsburys / Asda own brands usually say use when opened so I do that with those.

If you're not going to use it up the next day then freeze it into ice cube trays.

There's no need to throw them away.
