Just that really
We have two very young children
He was stalking me

I’d imagine so, especially if he has contact with them.

He breached his bail conditions that said no contact with me or the kids unless supervised by SS
Social services just closed their case so I'm super scared

If there has been previous involvement with ss then police may very well inform them. I know when my ex was going through a difficult time and she was with her ex there were a lot of domestic incidents and police informed ss and then ss alerted me to child protection incidents.

Well if there’s been a previous case and now this has happened yes I’d say they’ll get involved again.

Possibly yes. But why are you scared? Sounds like you had support in terms of.keeping you and the dc safe before so unless you actively helped him.yo break bail and other conditions, surely it's just more SS keeping an eye to ensure the dc are safe?

I'm scared they are going to think my home isn't safe for the kids as he didnt care about his bail condition and the conditions social services gave us

I'm in the middle of a non molestation order against him too

It's not your fault he turned up, OP.

That's the nature of stalking, surely.

IdLikeToBeAFraser · 22/06/2024 17:10

Yeah, sorry op I don't understand. Did you invite him.into your home? What on earth would you consider yourself at fault. SS is involved because HE is a danger to you and your children. Not because YOU are.

Youdontevengohere · 22/06/2024 17:10

They won’t blame you for him stalking you.

DullFanFiction · 22/06/2024 17:11

At the same time, by reporting the stalking, going fir a non molestation order, you are showing SS that you are taking their recommendations very seriously.

You can’t stop him from doing whatever. You can only take steps to protect yourself and the dcs. Which you are.

That’s his fault, not yours/the houses?

DullFanFiction · 22/06/2024 17:13

There is a question to ask (IF, and that’s a huge IF, it’s possible) on whether moving house wouldn’t be a good step for you. So he can’t access you as easily as he has done until now.

Same with SM, emails, telephone etc…

TheIceQween · 22/06/2024 17:17

If there is an order previously and you have gone against that, then yes SS will be heavily involved. I knew a lady once in the exact same situation and she hid the fact he will still very much involved. She temporarily lost custody of her children.

Thank you
I have evidence that he texts me to beg me to come back and open the door and me asking him to leave
I hope it shows social services my intentions
