Teething at 11 weeks???

11 week old started crying non stop last night, been fed, changed and had naps, he was taking his bottle then crying with teat still in mouth. had to take him on a huge walk at 9pm to get him off to sleep. We got back he woke up and didn't go sleep till after 10pm.
Tried to burp him but wasn't wind, as him mum it just felt different to any of his usual crying.
Today he's woke up at 6am and not stopped crying, still squirming at bottle. He was crying until about 8am when I gave him some calpol as I suspected teething (copious online searching). He then stopped crying and went sleep and was fine until it wore off. He started crying again this evening and having issue with bottle.
He is more sleeping, keeps Chewing on his hands and drooling with spit bubbles.
I've attached a picture of his gums as well. Just as a ftm I'm not sure of 11 weeks is too early. He is a big baby, 8lb 1 when born and constantly piling in weight so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

It's never too early for teething. DD1 had 4 teeth through by 3 months old.

Ds1 cut his first at 12 weeks after a week of misery for us both.

I was better prepared with ds2 who was a little later, but I recognised the signs and brought in all the teething tricks.

Upside was they seemed to come through quite quickly an without too much fuss after the first one.

Awww bless those little gums! I loved my little boys gummy smiles when they were babies 😍
It's never too early for teething, and you can definitely see the outline of teeth in the pictures!
I found teething gel/granules very helpful!
I would also recommend downloading the wonder weeks app if you haven't already. It tells you when you will expect your baby to go through developmental phases and what signs to look out for as it could well be that too ❤️
Hang in there! All these things come in waves! The crying will stop!

Teething wouldn't be out of the question. My first had a tooth thro by 4m. Only reason was she stopped drinking milk cos it hurt too much and actually began to lose weight... the magically the white tooth appeared.

Try rubbing bonjula on gums or teething powders.

Both of mine got their first teeth at 6 weeks.

"Teething" symptoms generally don't correlate very well with teeth actually coming through.
Babies go through lots of periods of unsettledness and mild illness in the first 2 years that don't have an obvious cause.

Thanks everyone, it's just the behaviours he's showing and the fact calpol seems to calm him completely that are making me think he's going through it 😓
