Chicken pox

Wondering do siblings in the same household how many days apart they both can get chicken pox. It's been Sunday since my 4.5 years old had it and my 8 month old hasn't had it yet

If your little one is going to get them, from my experience it could be around the 2 week mark. I've experienced this twice, once from one sibling to another and the next time from a cousin to my daughter.

It tends to be around 2 weeks and the second one gets it worse, as they’ve been nicely exposed to and incubating it for two weeks. We had one day of freedom between my dd’s spots crusting over and the first spot then appearing on my DS. They were two weeks after exactly. My DS was 7.5 months old at the time and was totally covered but he managed ok.

Yes unfortunately the second one usually gets it worse due to more exposure to the virus. I forget but about 2 weeks sounds right. Get stocked up on lotions etc. Antihistamines were helpful for mine but may not be suitable for your baby. Sorry, it’s not fun waiting is it.
