Just curious really. If your child's grandparent regularly provide childcare, did they buy a carseat for their car or did you buy it?

I bought my dgd’s car seat for them & us, also bought the pram had a high chair/bouncy seat changing mat/cot nappies/creams/bottles & food/formula here so my dd didn’t have to worry about bringing stuff, I dunno thought this was normal I’m was more than happy save them a few pounds & make life a bit easier.

Your child so therefore you meet all the costs especially if you're taking advantage of free childcare. You'd be a grabby, entitled cheeky fucker to expect the grandparent to supply the equipment.

Depends.

If grandparents are not well off, but both parents are earning large salaries (enabled by grandparents), then parents should pay.

If parents are scraping by and well off grandparents are doing childcare, then it would make more sense for grandparents to pay.

More difficult if both parents and grandparents are not well off - but ultimately in that case, your child, you pay.
