Accidentally hurt baby

Hey. I feel like such an idiot but basically I live in a tower block so the hallways are all quite narrow and I'm constantly knocking my 9 week olds pram.

But just now I banged it really hard against the lift door and baby girl seemed to be jerked awake. I'm pretty sure she seems normal. She had a couple oz of milk and had a good smile afterwards.

Do I need to go get her checked just to be safe?

Thank you!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
vodkaredbullgirl · 27/05/2024 19:43

No, they seem fine just 1 of those things.

rubyslippers · 27/05/2024 19:44

She doesn’t need to be checked for a bump in her pram
she isn’t hurt

Terrribletwos · 27/05/2024 19:47

Did you actually bump her head?
If not, don't worry.

You sound like a caring, concerned mum.

No her head didn't hit anything maybe the side of the pram but nothing obvious.

Thank you, being a first time mum is scary lol

Why do you feel that way?

Have you no support?

LongLostSock · 27/05/2024 19:49

She's fine my love. Probably just a wee bit cross about being woken by a bump.

Don't worry to much.

I can see that you have the maternal instinct screwd on if you're worrying about this.

You'll be fine.

How is your partner coping,?

I expect she's not as delicate as I think.

Partner is amazing. He works 12 hour days so a lot of the time it's just me which is fine but they're long old days!

So good you have a great partner.

Hopefully he's there for you.

I know those long days. Make the most of your time with your baby. I know it's hard.

He is, honestly he helps so much. Never complains about a night feed or anything like that. He took the baby and let me sleep in this morning which was lush.

I love it so much, just stress over the things like that lol

Yes, well you seem to worry a bit unnecessarily? Why is that?

Did you talk to your partner about it?

holslols · 27/05/2024 20:10

You seem a bit judgy. I'm a first time mum asking for advice on a forum for mums... thanks for the help 😂
