When did you feel ‘yourself’ again after having second baby?

Hi all.

I’m due my second child soon and my eldest is already ten…

It took me a while after having her to feel my vitality and sense of self again… (at least 3 years)

I am wondering whether it’s the same second time round ? Or even worse?

Obviously I’m a lot older this time (35) so that might mean by the time I feel myself again, I’ll be into perimenopause?

Anyone with stories / experiences / advice to share would be very grateful ☺️ thank you

@Boohoo123456 I was 32 and 35 at the 3 year points with my kids
I was a SAHM so probably harder to separate my identity and I was there for every bit of it all so was exhausted, but know working mums have their own hardships

I think it was 3 because toilet was done, teething, they could communicate, be more independent etc

Oh and sleeping alone (well with their sibling) that was massive. I could sleep a full night again!
