Toddler pijamas

What is everyone using for their 3 years old sleep? Room temp 23 dropping to 21 at night. With a toddler 4 tog duvet, and long sleeve pjs. Always sweats at the beginning of the night, and then seems to be ok. We have tried short sleeve pjs but he wakes up frozen in the middle of the night. Can’t get the balance right - any tips?

Shorts on the bottom and long sleeves on top, since the legs stay seem to stay under the duvet whilst arms often come out. Doesn’t seem sweaty and doesn’t wake up cold so seems to be working.

Long sleeves and legs with a fleece blanket. Not as warm as a duvet but cosy. It's been cooler than that though and my 3 yr old has just been minus the blanket because it gets kicked off. She does wear big socks to prevent frozen toes unless she says no to them.

Normal pyjamas, long sleeve top and trousers, 4.5 tog duvet. 3 year olds are able to regulate their temperature pretty well compared to a newborn and DD who is 3 next month often kicks her duvet off but can also recover herself if she's cold so I don't worry about her overheating or getting cold at all.

You can get little short legged and sleeved rompers that fasten between their legs and keep their stomach and back covered. My three year old also likes to wear socks whatever the weather.

Fab idea, where do you get yours? I didn’t see them my boy is in 104cm so not sure they do them in that size 🙈

Maybe it’s the duvet then 🧐 we got feather and goose down..

what is everyone using?

22 degrees, maybe dropping to 19 or 20. He's in long sleeve and long trouser pyjamas with socks. No blanket. When we're going to bed we pop the blanket over him.

If it's too warm we just put a cellular blanket over him rather than the duvet.

Feather & down here too, 4.5 tog.
I’d be worried a romper would impede loo access? Mine is dry at night but often needs a quick dash to the loo first thing. Quick up and down is an absolute necessity!
