Girl Mom or boy Mom

Which is harder in your opinion & why?

I have a 20 month old girl who is full of sass and big emotions. She loves books and can be sensitive to the world around her.

We have good days and days when I want to throw her out of the window 😂

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have 1, a girl age 7 and she's been a dream since birth, super chill and easy.

I’m sorry OP, you lost me at girl mom & boy mom. I hate it when people describe themselves like that. Almost as bad as using mumma or mumma bear.

Yep!! Baby dad leads me to block that person!

I really don’t think it makes any difference. You’re not really a ‘girl’ mum or ‘boy’ mum, you’re just a mum and you raise each child according to their needs, regardless of sex.

TheCryingTheBitchAndTheFloordrobe · 23/05/2024 15:40

How ridiculous. Children are different from each other and 'difficulty' is not informed by sex.

midgetastic · 23/05/2024 15:53

Boys are never called sassy though - they'd be bold or assertive or confident - all words with no slightly negative undertones

Once you believe gender exists then you see it and make the world fit

midgetastic · 23/05/2024 15:54

And I did read the subject as asking if a boy could be a mum

ShowOfHands · 23/05/2024 21:23

Imagine your boss pondering whether managing women is harder than men due to sass and emotions.

Or your employee considering if you'd be a better boss as a man.

I'd hope you'd be royally fucked off. Expect better for children too.

Ohfuckrucksack · 23/05/2024 21:31

Your question is sexist and I find the terminology irritating.

Applying sexist assumptions and stereotypes to children is harmful.

You parent the child you have. Each child is different and will have a variety of personal traits, which are not dependent on their sex.
