Should I be worried - vaccination error?

Hi everyone, newbie here. Hoping for some objective advice.
I'm a mum of 2 DS - 1 aged 4, and 2nd is juat 10 weeks :)
DS2 had his first jabs this morning. The nurse did them VERY quickly. For the second injection, I am sure that I saw a spray of liquid squirt out of the needle as she pulled it out of DS's leg. I registered it but was distracted by DS screaming blue murder. As I started to put his sleepsuit back on, I then noticed wet on his vest underneath.
I asked the nurse if she knew how his top had got wet, and I said are you sure all of the vaccine went in properly? She insisted it had, and showed me the empty vial. She then said my hair was wet, so maybe that's what it was (my hair was wet so it may have brushed on his vest as I leaned over to dress him). I acknowledged this and didn't say anymore.
But:

  1. I definitely saw spray come out of the needle (not out of his skin, but actually out of the needle once it was pulled out of his skin)
  2. the fact that the vial was empty doesn't mean all of the liquid was injected does it? Are there any nurses on here who can advise whether the spray at the end is normal? I'm worried now that my son didn't get the full dose of vaccine. :(

TIA

How much is a ‘spray’ of liquid? A drop or two or more? If she is an experienced nurse then I’m sure she knows what she’s doing.
Why was your hair wet enough to wet his top??
