Hi, I am a FTM and my DD has been waking hourly and to me sounds like she is crying in pain. She is not taking milk but the dummy seems to soothe her. She is dribbling l, sucking her hands, and making funny chewing noises. Should I be giving her nurofen before bed to help? And is there anything else that can help at this age as most products seem to be for over 5 months

I can see the whites of teeth under her gums

Yes it can be teething, one DC started teething at 3.5 months, just before I went back to work (20+ years ago). Unfortunately I think Medised, which massively helped at the time, was withdrawn from sale in the UK.

I think I’ll try nurofen tonight I am so exhausted

Try Ashton and parsons gel for 3+ months

And a few teething toys :) mine was an early teether also! Good luck!

Ah and calpol/neurofen before bed :)

It could be that with a mixture of the 4month regression. My LO went through a horrible sleep regression from 12 weeks that lasted ages!

Good luck!

My son started teething at 10 weeks poor toot! Too young for bonjela so we found Ashton and parsons, the powder seemed to work well for him when it wasn't too bad at the start

Could well be teeth as they have to move down in the gums as well as break the surface. Its on and off for weeks before anything pops through x
