Anyone else with a baby around 2 month old?

I was wondering what kind of sleep routine other people's littles ones around the 2 month mark have.

My little one is 2 month at the weekend. She's not a good napper during the day. As soon as I put her down she wakes up within 15 mins. She will generally go down between 10pm and 11pm, although it can be a task getting her to stay asleep. She wakes up a couple times during the night for feeds then goes back. She's never awake wanting to play etc. I'm get better sleep than when she was weeks old. She was super sleepy tonight and I've put her down at half 9. Worried she'll wake up in a bit wanting to play.

I was just curious as to what other babies are doing.

My baby is a little over 2 month. Everyday/week is different. She needs a lot of helping going to sleep, particularly for naps during the day. She tends to nap late morning which can be anywhere between 0900-1100. Sometimes she falls asleep very easily, sometimes she needs help with dark room, white noise, swaddling, cuddles, rocking, a quick feed beforehand. She will then nap again early afternoon but this is usually when I’m out and about with her either in the car or in the pram. For the rest of the day/evening, her napping is totally unpredictable and I’m still figuring this one out. She often needs contact naps once we hit late afternoon and evening. She doesn’t sleep for long periods - I’m lucky if she sleeps for 40 minutes at most, usually it’s just a quick 20-30 min nap. Very difficult to get anything done in the house. In terms of the nighttime, I still haven’t started a proper bedtime routine as she currently sleeps in our bed (she hates her next to me crib). We tend to have contact naps on the evening, take her up to bed with us around 10pm, feed her before going to sleep at around 11pm (I am EBF) and then she feeds 2 hourly through the night.

ive come to realise that they are still so young and unpredictable. Also, every baby is totally different. After weeks of stressing over establishing a strict sleep schedule, I have decided to go with the flow and enjoy this precious time with my baby.

This sounds very similar to my little one. It sounds like you are doing very well with baby. I would love to have her on me 24 7 but I have 3 other children as well as bsby, and I'm on my own. I still need to shower, eat, sleep and do some house chores. But like you I'm trying to enjoy this precious time. This baby is definitely my last and I want to appreciate every moment. I'm definitely not complaining I was just curious as to how other little ones of similar age sleep.
I know in a few months she'll probably not be getting up during the night and I'll miss our night time cuddles.
Why can't they stay tiny forever 😢

@AngieR87 I don’t know how you do it with other children! I’ve learned to lower my standards when it comes to house work 😂

It's hard work. My others aren't young so they can so a lot for themselves....but its still tiring. I've learned to lower my standards also. I've also had to come to terms with myself and not having the time to do my hair, make up etc. My mum is watching naby at the end of the month for a night to give me a break. I still don't know if I'm ready to leave her with someone else but I really need the child free night and some sleep.
