OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It stopped literally immediately, the moment she arrived.

I had general new baby anxieties after, everyone does, but not a touch on before.

Are you struggling at the moment? I had therapy (suggested by the midwife) which was helpful.

I did have some CBT but the therapist was not there very often so I stopped going / got out the rhythm. I do have a private therapist which I might go back to for the last 4 weeks. I’m due in 5!!

im pleased to hear it settled so quick for you…. That’s amazing. Did you have other kids too or was the baby your first? X

Our first. Is this your first?

Not long now! Good idea to have your therapist support for the next few weeks. You can have them as a back up then if you need them for a little longer. Tell your midwife & health visitor too as they should check in with you about it after baby is here.

Second baby I think a lot of the anxiety is around managing and being emotionally /
phyically available for two children.

i was on the fence about having another and the feeling has stayed with me x

I also worry about money and compare
to other families who can provide much more and this sends me into a panic

It stopped for me as soon as I gave birth. It was my second dc and I doubted the decision to have another all the way through the pregnancy and just felt like a dark cloud had descended on me.
The cloud lifted the second he was born.

I continued to be anxious for the first few months of DD's life but that may have been because she was an extremely high maintenance, colicky baby. By about 4 months I was feeling much better.
