Daughter on School Record for False Allegation?

My 8 yo daughter told me that a boy exposed himself to her and a friend. They were changing for PE in class and the boy pulled down his pants after getting their attention. I was told the boy's parents were called in and I was expecting a call, email or something but I was not informed. I arranged a meeting with the school headmaster and homeroom teacher. I asked about the incident and was told (by the teacher) that no such incident occurred. I said I find it quite disturbing that you would think 2 girls would lie about such a thing. She then said that my daughter's friend had backtracked immediately after informing her - this is where her version of events falls apart. She went on to say she had asked other students in the class and they said it didn't happen! Not, they didn't see it but, it didn't happen. I was told by the headmaster that had he exposed himself, I would've been informed. I have spoken to my daughter in depth and I'm convinced she is telling the truth. I later texted the mother of my daughter's friend, who also witnessed the incident, and she claimed her daughter had not told the teacher anything about it and didn't see it. The story gets stranger. We live in a small town and go to a CoE school. The local church is frequented by teachers and parents of the school. The mother of the boy who exposed himself is a governor at the school AND local church. The mother of my daughter's friend attends the church and her daughter's in the church choir. This may not be relevant but feel it should be added. Help me make sense of this. My biggest concern is that my daughter has been falsely accused of lying about a sexual assault and, God forbid, if she ever had to make a complaint in the future, this would have to be raised in court. Am I able to find out if it is on record? If so, am I able to challenge it?
Thanks for reading. I know it's long.
Any feedback will be appreciated

Are you in America? Homeroom isn’t used here.
