27 month HV check- personal and social

Bit surprised by outcome of HV assessment today.
DD scored full marks for communication, fine motor skills and problem solving.
She got borderline for gross motor which I expected- she can't jump yet.
However she scored in the grey for personal and social.

I'm really surprised as I thought she was very emotionally intelligent! It was DH who took her, i'm now worrying a lot and a bit pissed off at DH, probably unfairly, as I feel he's not conveyed things. It may just be that it's very rigid responses and a tick box yes or no. Even though she's scored for more monitoring they now say they won't see her again and haven't given any recommendations.

Dh said the HV was trying to get her to copy facial expressions and DD looked at her like she was mad.
She also definitely won't put her own coat on as she hates wearing a coat, and he answered that, but she will go and get her own wellies and put them on if we are going out.
She uses cutlery to eat.
She plays what (to me) seem more complex role play games with her toys- she throws them over so they've 'fallen' and then says she's sorry and kisses them better.
She looks after our animals- feeds them, strokes them, even tells them they're not allowed if they are climbing on furniture.
He said she would put stuff on the table or take rubbish to the bin if asked but wouldn't put something under the table - he's right she won't put an item under the table if I ask her to- but she will crawl under the table herself, declare she is under the table, and remark on it and join them if our animals are under the table.
If I ever look distracted or sad she will tell me 'don't worry mummy' and give me a hug.

I feel a bit lost now, worried about the not copying facial expressions, and confused whether there is or not a concern.
I wondered if she sounded normal, and whether anyone had any tips to help her development in this domain?

Thank you

Honestly, try to relax. If the HV was actually concerned they'd make a referral, or schedule follow-up with them. Theyve done neither, so your DC is doing fine. All little ones are different.

I really wouldn't worry about it, she sounds absolutely fine. I declined all HV appointments after the initial ones when son had just been born. He's 31 months now and I haven't arranged the 27 month one either. I can't be bothered fitting them in and I can see from a cursory glance at the checklists that he's fine.

It sounds a bit mad that she was trying to get her to copy facial expressions. Have a look at the checklist online and if you're not worried about anything yourself then just forget about it.
