Looking for a book / novel to see me through final months of pregnancy ?

Does anyone have any recommendations for something that will be super gripping, though provoking, complex but not too heavy?!

Would be nice to revolve around motherhood and family life but not essential.

I’m currently 7 months pregnant and feeling very low with it. Also have lots of work to do around the house and need the distraction from my overthinking and anxious mind…

Thanks in advance 🥰🙏📕

I've started reading The Seven Sisters series which I'm really enjoying. Not heavy or complex but well written and interesting premise taking you to different times and cultures, all revolving around family relationships.

The base story is that the father of adopted daughters dies and leaves each of them a letter about their origins. Each book follows one sister's journey with the stories flashing back to previous generations of her birth family.

I'm only on book two so far but loving it.

Have you read the Cazalet Chronicles? Very easy to read and hard to put down and would probably see you through breastfeeding as well...

There's another that's one of my favourite books, all about the complex, dysfunctional relationship between a mother and daughter which is The Queen Of Bloody Everything.
