13 month old - extra bottles in the night

13 month old DS usually has bedtime milk and one bottle around 3/4am. In the last 2 weeks he's been waking up every 2-3 hours screaming. It seems like a sleep regression, but he will only settle with milk so he's having bedtime milk and then another 2-3 bottles in the night. He seems hungry but has 3 good sized meals and snacks throughout the day.

Has anyone experienced this? I hope it is temporary!

Meeeee!
Baby now 15months, went on for about 2 weeks, he was also going through a sleep regression and growth spurt at the time.
all of a sudden stoped now he has 0 bottles through the night.

He doesn't need any milk at night at 13 months, and I wouldn't use that to settle him back to sleep. He may be waking up with teething or a blocked nose, and has just got used to being given milk, but at this point he should be eating enough in the daytime to sleep through.

My daughters reflux returned at 13 months and she jumped from having 3-5oz a night to 20+Oz and desperate for more. We restricted her to 2 3oz bottles being really strict as the more milk she had the more she needed as the milk caused her to reflux more which needed more comfort from milk. We had her reflux meds increased and we got her down to 1-2oz 1-2 times a night. Desperately needing milk overnight is still a warning sign of her reflux being unmanageable at 3

@Kathryn91 I'm so glad to hear you got through it and now no more night bottles!

It is easy to say they don't need milk at night at this age, but when they will not go back to sleep without it, id rather give him what he wants so i can get some sleep myself.

Hopefully this doesn't last too long! The one bottle around 3/4am previously was manageable
