DS Bed wetting

My DS is 4 years old and has been dry at night for at least 4 months - but suddenly he has regressed and is having accidents nearly every night.
It was his idea to not have pull ups on at night and he was so determined and proud of himself - we do everything we think we should to make it easier on him… limit drinks in the night, lots of toilet trips and rewarding when he wakes dry etc but we seem to have gone back a step.

Any advice or suggestions are most welcome - I appreciate he’s still young but it’s hard to see him upset at himself and apologising to me over and over again for having to change and wash his bedding.
He really doesn’t want to go back to pull ups at night as he says he’s a “big, grown up boy!”

I think stop rewarding him for being dry. That is heaping pressure on him.
Just be completely calm and reassuring.

Don't reward him, he can't help it. Loads of kids are still not dry at night at 4 and several years beyond. He may not want to go back in a pull up but if it saves you washing bedding every day I'd try!

Most of “dry at night” is muscle tone. Lots of running about often helps.
