I just had to share this somewhere that my 13 year old who had never had a dry night suddenly seems to have turned a corner.

She had the alarm, medication etc since she was about 8 and it made no difference and she slept through the alarm. We decided since she was older now to give the alarm another try and it's suddenly clicked! She's now been dry for a week and a half! One of the nights she had even forgot to put the alarm on.

Anyway I'm trying not to get overly excited because I know how quickly it can change but I hope this maybe give a little hope to other parents struggling with continence issues.

That's brilliant! I had a son who took forever to be dry at night after a regression at about 4. Its so hard because when they get older, they feel really ashamed and it knocks confidence and they can miss out on sleepovers and residential trips etc! I can almost feel the relief and lightness again from reading your post!
Fingers tightly crossed for you and DD!

Mine has just become dry at 12. He couldn’t use the alarms as they terrified him. We used desmopressin for years, with the occasional break, and the last time we ran out (three months ago), he stayed dry. Two wet nights since, both when we’d eaten out late and he’d had a fizzy drink.
