Chicken pox or MMR vaccine reaction?

My 3 year old had her MMR a week ago. I know you can get some side effects including a measles like rash a week later.

She woke this morning with this rash on her back. It’s not got any worse or spread through the day. All on her back and one spot on her leg.

Not sure if it’s chicken pox or just a reaction but doesn’t look like a measles rash to me.

Peak time for MMR reaction. How is she in herself?
Any fever, irritability?
That said, it could be chicken pox, any known contact with it?
I would watch and wait, if the rash spreads, treat like CP and keep her away from other children.

@Oneearringlost yeah that’s why I’m a bit confused as to what it is as would be a big coincidence if it was chicken pox but also doesn’t look like a measles rash.

Shes loaded with the cold, stuffy nose and coughing but she’s fine in herself otherwise.

I kept her off nursery today so will keep at her home the next few days just incase.

Our GP said that one of the key signs of chickenpox is that it crosses the hairline, but other rashes don't tend to. So keep an eye on the scalp.

Just bumping this again, still no further forward.

This is day 3 of the rash, there has been a couple more spots appeared but not many, mostly on her back , a few on her belly and legs. She’s still not scratching and I wouldn’t say the spots are blistering. Apart from having the cold she’s absolutely fine in herself.

Don’t want to call the doctors and waste their time as she seems fine in herself but still unsure what these could be.

Call the doctor! It’s not wasting their time, it’s literally what they’re there for and it’s quite important to know if they’ve had chickenpox so you know whether or not you need to consider vaccinating- you don’t want to needlessly spend £150 and you don’t want them reaching adulthood without any immunity.
