Effective telling off?

My 17 month old daughter has started throwing things, nipping me, pulling my hair, and it's just constant.

Please share any effective ways for me to tell her off without being nasty?

TIA one tired and overstimulated mummy xx

Distract and re-direct.

It's pointless 'telling her off'.

Walk away and don’t react or give attention for a few minutes

Yes or distraction.

Same with me. my DS 21 months has been a nightmare recently, hitting, biting, throwing things and most recently head butted the TV causing it to break the screen! I've tried the redirect, I've tried the not giving him attention but he's like a bull in a china shop. I have no advice, I'm at my wits end, tired, overstimulated and stressed. I will admit I've had lots of very loud 'NO" and STOP IT but even that doesn't work. He laughs in my face. I've even put him to bed early for the last week because I'm so done in! Hand hold right here, it's tough.
