Marker ink- going insane

DD is in reception and for some reason they have been using black markers that stain their uniform permanently. Ive told DD not to get marker on her jumper and treat it like its paint but does anyone know the best way to get marker out of a school jumper?
Also should i say something to the teacher or jist accept that they'll be using markers which stain clothes?

Just keep one set of clothes for smart days, and send the child back into school in clean but marker pen stained clothes.
You might get some of it out with vodka or nail varnish remover (ideally with acetone in), if it is fresh pen.

Did they use the markers for a specific piece of work or just generally in the classroom? I’m a Reception TA and we make sure all the ‘general use’ markers are washable but when we did a piece with a local artist and they had access to charcoal they all went home looking like they’d done an eight hour shift in the pit!

It will be whiteboard pens she's using most probably for carpet time sessions to show her answers. As a teacher who taught reception for years I never found a way to get the pen out of my own clothes so just washed them and wore them with the marks which is exactly what the kids also did.

Yes it's a pain but I never found a better way and no one will care if you send in her jumpers or tshirts with pen marks.

I've had some luck getting whiteboard marker out of uniforms with hand sanitizer
