Hi all

starting to plan my lo’s birthday , where has the time gone 🥺

what did you do for your babies first birthday 🥳

I’ve a older dog (first baby) who has anxiety and stress induced colitis which is making me not want to have the party at our house as it’s her home too 🥺

don’t know what to do, my parents house isn’t a option and my in-laws would laugh at me if I ask them could I have it there cause if my dog (wouldn’t want it there anyway tbh)

Go for a day out and go to a restaurant/cafe or whatever and say they are welcome to meet at x time if they want to have a birthday lunch with lo?

When will the party be? If you’re thinking ahead and it’s in a few months time the weather will hopefully be a bit better (unless you’re not in the uk and have nice weather anyway!) and you could do something like a picnic in the park. I generally find low-key is best for one year olds as they can be easily overwhelmed. Otherwise like pp said, inviting a few people to meet you at a cafe or for a pub lunch would be nice.
